Where are the jobs? is Skewed

Speaker of the House, John Boehner challenged President Obama on his economic policy asking, “Where are the jobs?”  via a Tweet. In response Obama had  several points to make, one somewhat relevant and the other in comical spite.

Boehner formatted his Tweet incorrectly, leading to Obama saying, “First of all, John obviously needs to work on his typing skills.” While comical, it does not exactly address the underlining question that Boehner asked. After all, he has been in office since January of 2009 and since then more jobs have been lost, the economy has not improved, and even his own self appointed White House’s Council of Economic Advisors economists painted a negative picture of the Stimulus Plan he championed.

With the economy showing little if any signs of improving in the public’s eyes, Obama justified his policies anyways.  “Eventually, I’m sure, the speaker will see the light,” Obama said in reference to the results he expects from his policies.
